A twist on a traditional séance relying on psychology and inclination towards superstition to alter your perception of reality.
Step inside, take a seat, but don’t get comfortable.
SÉANCE transforms a shipping container into a Victorian séance room. It explores the psychology of a group of people who have been bombarded with suggestible material and asks that they believe in what might be conjured up into the room with them.

Aotea Square is located in the city centre, a 15-minute walk from Britomart station. If you're driving, affordable parking can be found in the Civic Car Park, directly beneath the square.

I AM RUNNING LATE, WHAT DO I DO ?Try to get there as quickly as you can and speak with our team on the door - they will instruct you on where to wait for available seats. They can only fit you into one of the following sessions if they have spare seats and there are no other paying ticket holders. There's no guarantee and sessions are often full. Latecomer Policy: Please note that your tickets were valid for you session only, you are not entitled to a refund or exchange if you are late. Latecomers are not guaranteed a seat in another session. CAN I LEAVE ONCE AN EXPERIENCE HAS BEGUN ?We kindly ask that patrons do not leave during the performance, as it is unsafe to move in the dark and can disrupt the performance for others. In the case of emergency, we will safely guide patrons to the exit.

AGE RESTRICTIONS:
DARKFIELD is not suitable for those under the age of 13. Individuals aged 13 – 15 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
RUN TIME:
SÉANCE: Allow 20 minutes, run time 16 minutes
FLIGHT: Allow 25 minutes, run time 22 minutes.
MULTIPLE SESSIONS
SÉANCE runs on the 15 and 45 past, FLIGHT on the hour and half hour.
Example of multiple session booking: SÉANCE 6:15pm, FLIGHT 7:00pm.
That allows for a drink in Aotea Square or a quick toilet visit.
